Posting copyrighted material
POLICY:
Do NOT post copyrighted material on this Forum without consent of the Author. This could be from another website, or a book that you personally own. The owner/Admins of this site will not be held liable for any copyright infringement of this type, and as such, will prevent (to the best of our ability) it'* posting in public. This is for the protection of ALL members.
Copyrighted material could include:
Information obtained from any other website.
Documents such as service manuals, magazines, or other books.
CD-based documents.
Brochures/leaflets.
In many cases, the picture you post will show in the properties tab where it came from, if it'* direct-linked. This should be ok, as long as the picture came from the site that owns the copyright, not saved to your server from their site, and then linked from there.
Looking up the material, and manually typing in the information you gather from it is different. Do NOT scan or post the source document without first having sent evidence of written permission to an Admin.

While this may seem extreme, it'* written in this manner to protect the owner of the website. (I would personally feel HORRIBLE if Jeff were hit with a copyright infringement lawsuit because I overlooked or missed something, and even WORSE if the site were shut down ) It would be best to use this as a GUIDELINE when posting here. Please send any questions regarding this policy to your friendly neighborhood Admin.
