Post Width Issues...
Ok so this has been bothering me for some time now. I run my laptop at 1600x1200 res and even with my browser maximized, sometimes I still have to side scroll a thread because of stupid url'* that are 10 miles long or pictures that aren't formatted "for the web".
Could we please try to institute some kind of formatting of pictures and urls?
I always use the url tag with
[ url = http :// webaddress.com ] DESCRIPTION GOES HERE [ / url ]
And I always resize my photos down to below 640x480 to make them much easier for others to view (plus to keep my web server from getting overloaded). I always link to the full res shots using:
[ url = http :// webaddress.com/pic##.jpg ] [ img ] http :// webaddress.com/pic##_thumb.jpg [ / img ] [ / url ]
One example of this is HERE. The link at the bottom is FREAKIN' long as h3ll!
Am I alone in this annoyance? Is there anything that we could do?
