Old posts??
To whom it may concern:
I have seen messages such as "Do not dig up old posts"
and old post'* that are "LOCKED".
I don't understand the reasoning behind this.
(Other than perhaps to keep the peace, in an extremely heated controversial issue.... )
If someone wishes to comment on a topic that has been discussed before.
perhaps to add new info, or might like to add his opinion, what'* the problem?
Please explain this policy.
Is this not a discussion forum??
How can one "discuss" , if the topic has been locked and censored??
Is there an issue of disk space?
Can the older posts of say, a certain age,
be deleted to reduce disk space usage?
Thank You, for your attention to my queries.

1. if you have a problem, start your own thread... (so people dont get confused who needs help)
2. if you dig up a post about buying or selling something that is over a year old, it is probably sold, not wanted anymore, or the seller is gone.
3. The post are old and contain old information. New information might be available, which would help you more.
Hope that helps...
