Also what the possibility of us being more of a pontiac geared site, saw the W body Grand Prix, the J body Sunfire and the N Body Grand Am... I'm thinking about this at the moment as we have a vendor that has parts for all of these cars... I'm wondering if we would be able to cater to a wider group of people.... But I am still a bonneville nut... So the question is, as we grow do we add to the field, or stay Bonneville dedicated? Ant thoughts or ideas?
But I like the idea of a recruiter

As to the "Recruiter" idea, I'm all for it! It might even be better if some members were "recruiters" in some local chapters too (IE: West Coast, East Coast, Mid-West, etc)

I like the idea, and I am the only one in my region, and I went to school for Commercial and Advertising Art...but time is a factor. It will be much easier once I get a home computer again.

Ok, are we still up for this? I have positive feedback so far. Here'* a conversation between David and I just now on YM:
At this point, I will accept nominations AND volunteers by PM ONLY. All entries will be discussed by the BC Staff offline, and a decision will be made.
wrens67: Yo, little whippersnapper.
crazydriver04: haha
crazydriver04: what up
wrens67: Whaddup?
wrens67:
crazydriver04: not a thing
crazydriver04: you
wrens67: Waiting to see if there'* more interest in the recruiter thing. The recruiter will have alot to do, but only if others are willing to hit the streets, if ya know what I mean.
crazydriver04: like what?
crazydriver04: i was going to put things on bonnies that promote the club
crazydriver04: that woudl be sweet
wrens67: I'll post again down there, and see if we can generate more interest. The recruiter would be the person who would host the webspace for the business cards and flyers. Members would download things from that space, print them, and distribute them as they see cars. The recruiter would also have to keep those things up to date, 'sponsor' membership drives in one geographic area at a time, encourage members to get out and do it, map out where our low membership areas are (like the west coast for instance ) ) and generally stay on top of things. Not necessarily be the only one to put notes on cars. Your MN membership is already high enough.
wrens67: Hang on, getting another beer. BRB.
crazydriver04: well i could use some space of mnbc to have the fliers cards to print...i was thinkin that if i was given that role to contact the bonnie store and see if a contest could go on if hed donate a shirt or something for the winner...have like a month long contest to see who can get the most people to join the a certain area...
wrens67: Not a bad idea. That would be something we'd have to work out with Complinitor.
wrens67: With your ok, I'd like to post this conversation down in the Suggestions forum in the recruiter thread.
crazydriver04: soemthing the recruitor could work out w/ him
crazydriver04: oh really
wrens67: Ok?
crazydriver04: ok
wrens67: Now go back and post, you little *****.
crazydriver04: so do i have to post in the topic that im intersted or what?
wrens67: No, you already have, you nimrod!
crazydriver04: is there gunan be a head recruitor or just recruitors?
wrens67: We'll still open it up for other volunteers and nominations. Have to be fair to all. One recruiter. Keep it simple.
crazydriver04: oh of course...thats what i figured 1 recruitor...but have people in certain areas help out...like thers a police cheif...and there is a sargent
wrens67: We have some guys that are great with photoshop to help with the cards and flyers, but the Recruiter will be the central communication point. Not the Do-All, but the 'organize-all'. Make sense?
crazydriver04: you know?
crazydriver04: yup
crazydriver04: i agree w/ ya
wrens67: Ok. I'll post this. Cya tomorrow.
crazydriver04: wher eya goin?
crazydriver04: lol
wrens67: Bed. Gotta be up at 5am, and it'* 10:23 here.
crazydriver04: when ya think anythign will be figured out?
crazydriver04: its 1215 here and ig otta be up at 630
wrens67: Depends on the interest level. We need the club behind this, or I won't waste my time on it.
crazydriver04: well im gunan start making up fliers
wrens67: We do this all together, or not at all.
crazydriver04: agreed
wrens67: Ok. Later, bud.
crazydriver04: haha

I placed an ad in the local classifieds on www.ebclink.com putting ATTN!! All Bonneville owners... mentioning this website as being able to pretty much answer any question they may have. Hopefully I can get some more members in my area!! Also, I was thinking of putting the BC club logo and name on my back black window!

Since I do alot of traveling, can I get this position? I do see alot of Bonnevilles on the road and when I pick-up and deliver. I can go to make some flyers right now and pass them out while on the road. I would love it!
