New staff addition?
To commerate my umpteenth post, I'd like to make a suggestion for the good of the Bonneville Club.
Is it time for an official 'recruiter'? Someone to be the focal point for flyers/business cards, and to research and suggest ways to recruit membership? Set up recruiting drives in the geographic areas that are interested?
This person would have to host the webspace for the flyers or business cards, so that others could download and print them. The links to these could be in their signature. Some of this work has already be done by others, and could be donated, but the Recruiter would have to be VERY good at computer graphics/writing.
This would have to be a go-getter. Someone who could actively pursue driving the recruiting effort in the various regions.
Is this a good idea, or not?

The other cars have good forums already. It'* hard to draw people away. I'd say stay the way we are, and draw them as we have been. When we add the GXP lineup in mech and maint, we'll end up attracting more types as well (aurora'* for example). Ultimately, it'* Jeff'* call for the future vision of where we're going, but even if we stay Bonneville with a few other bodies, we need to recruit. Just about everyone who'* joined in the last month has said they were shocked we existed, and had wished there was something like this.
Power in numbers. The only reason the group intake buy is succeeding with ADTR now, is that we have a larger member base. Let'* get it bigger, eh?

When I made up my own little card thing I place "Focused on Pontiac Bonneville'* and GM H-body vehicles". I've only had one chance to place one of these little things so far(i don't lurk in parking lots :o ) but no bite. I think this is a great idea, but more particulars need to be hammered out.

I find it ironic that I would love to help out, but I am ***** for graphics design and I roll in the wrong car now . Lets see what others have to say. I love the idea however

I think it'* a great idea also. And I think a mass distribution of flyers on cars would help get more members quicker. I've thought about doing this here but haven't really had the time. But there are a lot of Bonnes here and most of them I see are younger guys and girls driving them, with the occasional "old fart" So these younger ppl are more apt to joining of course. Very good idea Will, let'* see this thing develop.

Well bill you've seen my handywork, I bet Bonnie94sse is even better! I don't hve any space to host anything though. If anyone wants ideas i can help out, or make up logos. Would we want to do a big push? Have people check out other sites, post about stuff, put stuff in car stores, on cars etc? Would we want to incorporate new designs into the site? I've done a lot of stuff and i'd be willing to help design a new logo etc, and maybe layout some cards.

This is gonna take some work. I'd leave it up to the recruiter to decide where to surf for ideas, what programs to run......he would be willing to take people'* ideas and run with them, or decide which is best.
He doesn't have to do it all, but he needs to be the central focal person, so to speak.
A real go-getter.
