I think it would be nice to have something that you could click on so you could view all new posts in a certain amount of time. Just like the posts since last visit, only you don't have to log in to make it work. Just have it like 1, 3, 6, 12, 18, 24 hours, and 2 days, and you will be able to see all the posts posted in that amount of time. It is starting to annoy me that if my connection gets disconnected, I have to log back in, and then I have to manually go through every section to make sure I saw every post because posts since last login would be like 2 minutes since I got logged out. I think it would just be much more convienient, not just for disconnects, but for people who don't log in unless they are posting and such. Just a suggestion.

I agree with you....it can get cumbersome, esp if your system disconnects. But to make it work, phpBB software must allow for this option. If the software has the option, then I'm for it

i agree, sometimes I come and only have time to check a few categories before I have to log out. That would be GREAT if we could get something like that.

Or even give the option NOT to clear unread post everytime you logged out ( net disconnection or whatever reason.. quick.. close the window.. the boss is coming )
Since I don't remember after which post I've read and which one I didn't.. I"d rather do it manually by clickin on "Mark all post as read"

It is possible to search for all posts within the last day, week, two weeks, etc.
It might not be too difficult to extend it for other periods of time, but I haven't looked into it.
