Smoothness is the what you are aiming for here. The air will flow slightly faster over the smooth surface than that factory casting.

Smooth. No sharp edges.

And from your pics above, it looks as if you wasted a ton of time polishing the recess in the outlet face for no reason? Where it says "Rev G".

You want to smooth out the sharp EDGES. And what are you going to do to your inlet?

Well I just wasted more time polishing where is says "Rev G" I thought that was part of the polishing........I need to give my head a shake.


As for the inlet, I was going to use a scotchbright rotary wheel to do the inside. Hopefully that'* what I'm supposed to do.....Man the world of *\C is all new to me...I'm used to working on Small Block Chev Motors.
