Idle issues and supercharger related
I just got through replacing the supercharger belt on my 93SSEi. Well I was thinking the belt seized up but not for sure. The supercharger was supposed to be rebuilt about 10K miles ago. The coupler rattles at idle, but also makes the engine loop and idle rough, almost enough to make the car stall. The supercharger has a little play in the shaft and I was wondering what everyones take on the issue is?

The supercharger can't affect your idle if it'* in bypass like it should be. Check your BCA. If you'e in full bypass at idle, I'll move your topic back to 92-99. It'* out of the loop at that point. TOTALLY bypassed.
A SC coupler can have no effect on idle. If it'* hard to turn, it might. Checked the oil lately? Making any bearing noise?
Who rebuilt your SC?

Not sure who did it. Some guy on ebay. I bought it from a dealership that I traded it to about 2 years ago after the previous charger supposedly seized up on them.

Stupid me, I found the problem. Some vacuum lines were cracked really bad but then when I got all done I found out that the vacuum block that all the lines attach to was leaking also. So now the car is just fine except I'm still gonna have to get me a new coupler eventually.
