boost Hissing like a cat.
ok.. I haven't hit boost other then twice on a short burst to overtake slow ***.. I just got my car back and in fear of all the rust and built up haven't been hitting boost much.. the last time I hit boost I got about 3/4 throttle but boost guage also read 3/4 up on the boost gauge .. that'* not wat worries me.. the part that worries me is I hear what sounds like the boost solenoid or something venting.. it goes pfftt.. pfft.. pfftt.. during boost.. but the guage doesn't move and I don't feel a difference in accelaration.. any ideas?? Could that be the EGR?? ( Since I'm pretty sure I have an issue there.. read my emission post )
How do I troubleshoot the boost solenoid and such?

Have someone get in the car. Pop the hood (pull the engine cover off to expose the SC), and put on the E-brake, block the wheels. Start the car, put it in gear, and with the foot on the brake, rev the engine to 3,000 rpm'*.
YOU stand next to the left fender where you can see the boost actuator (on the fron to of the SC) and see if it moves between idle rpm'* and 3000 (while in gear).
