Magnuson doesn't advertise the kits. You must call Magnuson Products and ask their remanufacturing department staff for the kit. And yes, they will sell you a coupler...at least they used to - I bought a kit from them over a year ago. They call one of the kits the "moly guard" kit and it costs $25. It includes the coupler, sealant for the nose mating surface, a new drain plug, a bottle of supercharger oil, and an instruction sheet. Or you can get the nose oil seal with the kit also, for $30 more. I don't think you'll find this seal anywhere else; I wasnt' able to. The OEM seal has a teflon lip with sprial grooves on the lip.
The nose bearings are 6203.c3 and 6204.c3. NSK and several other manufacturers make them.
To check for causes of noise at idle, also check the pulleys, belt tensioners, balancer, water pump, and alternator too. Listen while the engine is running and use a mechanic'* stethoscope or a rubber hose next to your ear.

PSE called me. Recommended their remanufactured SC for $699. Said it would take 2.5 to 3 hours (shop book number) to remove and reinstall. Recommended entire unit - not to do nosecone only. Said they used a new butterfly valve which solved original problems. I am having second thoughts about investing in this car - maybe I should sell it while the noise is not too bad, get some $$$$ and move on to another vehicle. I really love the car - more emotional decision than practical to keep putting money into it (and what will break next?). Any thoughts?

I agree that I could probably get by with just a coupler change but I am worried that my mechanic will spend more time pulling off the nose than just replacing the entire unit. Plus, if I do the whole SC I won't have to worry about cleaning the bearings, looking for parts, and leaking nosecone gaskets (I hope).
Spoke with Canadian SC in Winnipeg. They have a partner who does the same thing in Floriday (I am in GA). They have been in business 3 years and remanufacture SC'*. For $490 they have a cosmetically challenged unit with rotors they select as the "best" of the recycles they get. For $590 they have a better looking unit with rotors that have been tefloned and get 1/4 PSI better boost. Either unit is guaranteed for 2 years, unlimited miles, comes with gaskets and includes shipping.
Do you know anything about the Canadian or Florida guy? Says the job will take 2 hours to remove, replace. Also said to torque the SC to 17 foot pounds.
If this is all true, for $600 + $200 in labor I'd have a refurb SC on my Bonne.
