You'll need one of these for the Remote Starter!

The basic colors for the bundle coming off the ignition switch under your dash are as follows (from the '93 service manual):
RED: (two wires) Main power inputs; your remote starter taps into these to get its own power supply, and uses this input through its own relays to drive the outputs, basically mimicking the role of the ignition switch
BROWN: Accessory output, hot in Accessory or Run positions (i.e. low drain devices; e.g. wipers, radio)
ORANGE: Accessory output, hot in Run position only (i.e. high-drain devices; e.g. power windows)
PINK: Ignition circuits, hot in Run, Bulb Proveout and Start positions (i.e. engine run)
YELLOW: Start circuit, the one that cranks the starter (assuming it'* got permission from the VATS, starter enable relay, etc.)
(Do not confuse the light yellow wire above with the bright yellow air bag wire.)
For VATS-equipped cars, you will also find an orange "wire" which is actually a plastic sleeve containing two thin white wires, going to and from the ignition switch. This is the loop circuit completed when you insert the ignition key; the VATS bypass box you install will tap into this circuit to provide the correct resistance expected by the car (to fool it into thinking the key is in the ignition).
For security-system-equipped cars, you will need to locate the Factory Alarm Shutdown wire, which should be a light-green wire inside the driver'* (or passenger'*) door at the outside key lock. The remote starter should have a lead which grounds this wire to deactivate the security system when the car is started (or unlocked).
Your tach input connection at the coil pack should be to the white wire which is the fifth wire from the _right_ end, when viewing the coil pack from the front of the car.
That'* all I can think of to start with. If you want to do some searching of the archives here, I had a series of postings called "Dashboard Diary" that covered installation of a BulldogSecurity Keyless Entry and Remote Starter system on my '93 SSEi. It'* a little wordy but might help you in some places.
You might want to tell us what brand of starter you have and how the project is going, once you get rolling on it. Good luck and take your time; don't be in a hurry to finish this because it can get a little confusing in some places.
P.*. One more thing... This thread here:

...has several good writeups from other people who have installed them, and you can find more useful advice there.
