Where are the grounds grounded?
Hello I am a new member and wondered if anyone could assist me since I have the exact same symptoms as wug as listed here: http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=58199 (Edited by Mod.)
First a bit of history, this is the first car I have had with a moon roof so naturally I forgot to close it one rain filled night. Shortly after this I started having the issue where only the driver’* door has its window, door lock or power mirror working. I do have door lights on all doors working when I open the driver’* door but not when I open any other doors. So I have now removed the entire interior except the dash and cleaned all grounds with my dremel tool (drivers side foot well, under drivers seat, under drivers side rear seat, passenger front foot well, 2 under passenger seat, main ground under back seat near the battery) and am still having the issue. There was corrosion under each front seat but no where else. I then went to the passenger front door and did what Technical Ted suggested and tested the 2 orange for power- ok and the 3 grounds 2 of 3 are good. My question is does anyone know where the black/white ground 4 and 14 are grounded to? I have tried tracing it back but I loose it under the dash and do not want to disassemble the entire car. The floor mats have been drying for 4 days in the basement and are still slightly damp so I have a few more evenings to figure this out I hope.
Thanks for the help; next I am going to try the regulator fix.

Thanks markwb, I seem to have good grounds there. In another thread (http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=58199) technical ted (bottom of posts) mentioned pin 14 on the C1 connector was also a ground which is where I am getting nothing. Is pin 14 a ground it is a black/white wire like pin 4? I really do not know where to turn. The most corrosion was on the ground under the drivers seat I think it was pin 1, can anyone tell me where that ground goes? Any suggestions would be much appreciated I am feeling lost.
Thanks again for your help.

At the Front Passenger Door Module, connector C1 pin 4 is a blk/wht lead that terminates at G201. G201 is located in the lower right corner of the passenger compartment on the right front door pillar. Also check connector C3 pin D termination at G201. I think this is the info you are looking for, if not let me know. The ground lead in the C3 connector should be a heavier gauge wire, it is the ground for the power window motor circuits. The other lead in the C1 connector is a smaller gauge for the control circuit for raising & lowering the window.
