Weird!! Gas Gauge issue

Alright, I drove about 10 more miles on the highway, and just like that the needle went to Full. Don't feel like wasting premium at 2.06 a gallon so I'll wait till I drive some more to see if it'* functioning. Sounds like it should be though. Thanks for all the ideas.

i top off all the time, then again when i do it my gas meter goes from full, ignition start to empty...i hate the damn thing..and when i hit a nasty bump or sumtin it goes to full or empty.

Well, it seems to be functioning correctly. I went out of town this weekend so I'm about due to fill up again. This time I'm not going to top off I guess.
