Default My hud is not reading the same speed as the speedometer..??

My hud is about 2 to 3 mph off what the speedometer says. Is this normal? I've checked tire size and all the tires are the correct size. Is there any way to make the speedometer and hud match? :? Also which one is correct the hud or the speedometer? BTW, yes its on mph not kph

Thanks for the great forum! Also, I would like to find some bonneville people in northwest ohio or northeast indiana to hang out with sometime. A good reason to talk about cars and drink some BEER!

but a freind of mine told me to go with the hud over the dash.
btw hud says 75, dash says 73/4. but they both are the same till 25 then agian after like 85 or something.

The gauge is mechanical and subject to inaccuracy where the hud is not.

Mine is further off depending on how it feels that day.

My poor speedo suffers occasional whiplash and is off about 5 mph at highway speeds. I'm considering cleaning it next time my cluster is out.
