Also youll be disappointed on how much dimmer they are than stock bulbs. Unless you add a resistor so they work right. If not itll be dim and youll have a faster flash than stock.

u would be able to see them through the plastic. what i sugguested doing is the exact same thing the companies that sells them does. only will had a good point with the computer, u would have to do some research but it would be a lot better to do it urself. u would save money, get to design whatever u want and learn a thing or 2

I will have to agree with Bill that it will cause havoc to the smart car ( I've thought of clearing mine a while back ago, but alas I couldn't cause 96 - 99 rear light housing has the red film on the outside cover and the internal lens is clear which is no good.. and you're right, they're not that bright cause they don't utilise the reflector ), but I don't think the flashin turn signal should be a problem as Bonneville has their own turn signal light/housing seperate from 95+

LED'* wont mess with an SE/SLE DIC. It'* good stuff. 4 LED'* in series wiring run on 12v perfect, and 14v when running will be fine. Otherwise you'll want a 280ohm resistor or so for each one. You won't need too many LED'* to light up the back, especially if you can reflect them well.
