L67 Block Heater
Has anyone installed a blockheater on their car. Now that I am in lot colder climate, I think it'* a good idea. I am not sure how cold it get'*, but I don't want to be peformance testing my starter every morning this winter.

I'm pretty sure Matt had one redone. Sounded like a cheap thing to have done w/o you getting dirty.

I have one on my car but never used it, even at -30* or so there'* no trouble starting the car.
But I have blown out 2 of them
On both occaisions I was tuning the car, at the time I was at WOT on the highway. It doesn't take long to loose most of the coolant in those situations, unfortunately there was so much coolant everywhere causing me to throw my 8 rib supercharger belt...in fact that was the first indication of trouble.
That said, the one in there now has gone through plently of abuse and a complete winter and still made it through.

Cheetah'* car is from GA to be specific. Bill that is a good point. I was reading what Foghorn had to say and after reading that, I might reconsider; being that I really do not see me pulling out the heater for the summertime so I can make full use of the throttle. As for wjcollier07 I believe is John, I will be up here for 4 years. Anything you want sent to you???
