Well i fixed my keyless entry. i noticed a something missing from the insides of my remotes... the keyless seems to operate the illuminated entry... so im guessing the rods in the door handles have failed...

After having an illuminated entry problem I can tell you that it probably not the case.
There is a little switch that hooks directly to the handle to illuminate. Off to dig up my post and get you some pics to see and better understand. It is possible they are unhooked in a door though. I wouldn't expect that to be the problem.
