-steering wheel controls dont work for the radio
-rear window won't go down (drivers side)
-power door locks don't work
-if your window goes up or you turn your wheels the volume goes up
-and you'd like a wiring guide
Well first off do you have a Haynes or Chilton repair guide? You can buy them for like $15 at Walmart?
Second, what is the year/trim of the Bonnie you are having problems with?
.... one final question.... how is an 01 Bonneville the 75th anniversary, when the Bonnevilles came out in 57... :? Just noticed that in your sig

Perhaps Andy or fuddy can chime in here. Just make sure to double-check all fuses and relays, and if you keep blowing them, the broblem is further down the line. Just give the gearheads a little time. They'll get to ya.
BTW guys, he found this in his glove box:
EDIT: Just read your description above (instead of IM) and it looks like more that a relay or fuse problem.

Pontiac never produced a 75th Pontiac Anniversary edition Bonneville.
Your steering wheel control harness is probably worn out in the column and shorting while you turn.
The Chilton'*, Haynes, and Clymer manuals are good, but sometimes lacking in the electrical Schematic department. What you really need is the factory service manual from www.helminc.com or Ebay.

If the fuse for your PDL is popping, you've got a short. Try disconnecting the door lock switches in the other three doors, leaving the driver'* door attached. Put a new fuse in. Does it still pop? If so, the problem is most likely in your door (probably where the wires go through the door into the car).
Question.....has your car ever had a remote starter, alarm, or keyless entry installed AFTERMARKET?

On the badge thing.....is it possible this is something the dealer installed? I find vague references to special 75th anniversary pricing, but not much else. I asked about this last year (with Pontiac on the phone), and they told me no anniversary editions were produced?
I'm really curious about this. I'm sure this won't be the last time this subject is brought up. If you have the original invoice or any other information, it would be GREATLY appreciated.
