Headlight Switch Question - No Instrument Panel Lights
Hi all,
My instrument panel lights went out recently. I did a search in this forum and it appears that my headlight switch needs replacing. I went to the Advance Auto Parts web site and they have several to choose from (please see links). My question is this, which brand should I choose (or steer clear of)? I have twilight sentinel, so I'm leaning towards the GP Sorenson switch. The AC Delco unit doesn't mention whether it is for the twilight sentinel version. So, any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks,
LeifW

Lief..hang tight for a second.. I have info I gotta get for you.
But first..
Have you pulled your switch, looked at it for any burnt or cooked looking areas as well as the connector going to it?
The one thing about buying a switch for a 95 is that you also have to buy the ***** because there'* a newer switch that supercedes the 95'*.

And if you are ready for the possible scary news that could be awaiting you when you pull that switch and connector apart. If you see this..let me know..I have the connectors/switches and can priority mail them

Depends..you want a whole switch and wiring harness? lol
The ***** I am unsure. I've only gotten them from a junkyard. However if you go to the parts places near you. Most likely when they read the switch description it says to order part XXXXX with it too.

Before you jump into the big project, I just wanna verify you checked the easy stuff, like fuses??? I know when I installed my first aftermarket HU, i blew the fuse for the dash lights. Everything else worked fine, but I had to wait for the next street light to verify my speed.....
