Default Has anyone ever rewired one of these things?

My car is not equipped with any of the features seen on this switch array, so i just have a cover where it would be located had i owned these features. I wanted to add some features to my bonne like a Hi-Speed fan override switch and other things (relabel the buttons of course), i figured i could buy a used one of these switch arrays and rewire it. However its proving much more difficult than i assumed.

There are 5 switches and 10 wires coming out of it, sounds simple right? Reverse engineering the wiring on this sucker is giving me a headache. Has anyone ever tried doing what i am? I'm going this route to add switches for the cleaner look, and more stock look.

I have the shop manual, but to my surprise have found very very little information pertaining to it. Ive learned more by holding the circuit board up to a bright light and tracing the paths that way. Ill spend a couple more hours on it, if i cant wire it making use of the circuit board in there, then ill have to perform surgery on it :(
