Default Gauges repaired

I'm mainly posting this for other members who have gauge issues similar to what i had.
My gauges would flash on and off, mostly off. Both the DIC and teh compass were dead. I tried the tech article twice and still had the problem.

I did a little research and came up with

www.mrwhizard.com

I shipped the gauges there ( 35 bucks )
They repaired them for about 170 bucks.
That price included parts ( new processor and power supply parts ) and a lens polish.

My gauges are now brighter than ever before and they all seem to work like they are suppose to. Anyway, from my perspective they did a great job all for less than the price
of a used set. Repair took about 1 1\2 weeks.

Good info. I'm debating on having mine repaired or replacing wirth another used unit. That seems like flat rate pricing no matter what the problem is (within repairable limits)?

My temp and oil gauge don't display correct values.

Any year limits? I'm just fed up with my crappy cluster, and will send them my old cluster, and say, here, fix it. For that money, it would be worth it, but keep my new one just in case i break something again

I'm not sure if there are any year limits. I would e-mail and see.
They do have a huge number of different gauge sets they have repaired.

This sounds familiar. I think someone else here has used those guys with success. One of our gearheads if memory serves. Thanks for the info!
