I tried looking for replacement taillights. I was not successful, so I fixed my own. Now, in my oppinion they look as good or better than the originals. I cut stencils and used trim paint to improve the look. A guy with a SSEI saw what I had done and now wants me to do his.

If im understanding what you are saying correctly, this is something that i was going to do to my Tails at work, but i have now opted to go the Custom route that driverjohn went
