Default Spotty windows

Anybody have any good ideas as what to use to remove the "water" spots from the ouside of the windows? All my vehicles have them and I can't seem to find anything to remove them.

You know, I've had that same problem and it'* kinda ongoing...

The one thing I found that HELPS is Rain-X glass cleaner (the 2-in-1 type) that "puts on rain-x" while cleaning. That waxy formula seems to clean up better than conventional glass cleaner, at least for me. The only problem I have sometimes is streak marks, but that can be removed by a very good microfiber towel or something to your liking that you find works best.

Try drying the window with newspaper.

mix vinegar and water (50/50) then spray on the window and dry with newspaper.

I've heard those stubborn spots can be removed with claybar as well

i deal with water spots like on a daily bases. i detail cars.. the best thing to use is wheel acid. wipes them rite off. DO NOT!! get it on your paint or buy buy clear coat. unless u know what you are doing. because you can use it to take water spots off of paint, but its tricky. gota keep a steady flow of water on it but for windows it can just set.

you can also buy stuff made to take off water spots. not as easy as acid but works.

get acid if you can find it. i buy from a dealer. but heres a link

use this with windex and steal wool takess ome time but very nice outcome.

I have done the windex, newspaper, vinegar and even a cheap $4 a bottle window polish with no sucess. I think I will try the acid thing next.

Thanks for all the input.
