For this little chip, aerosol would be overkill, IMO. Then you'd have overspray all over the place, and a complete mess with trying to level everything back off to look uniform and decent.

I agree with the others saying DupliColor or your GM dealer. Actually the paint GM will sell you is just relabled DupliColor paint, anyway....

Another option that I've had good luck with is http://www.paintscratch.com/

Good luck! You can just pick that old stuff out of there and start over fairly easily.

Wow! That site is GREAT! For 1993, it gave me the model options of:

Firefly
LeMans
Sunburst
Sunfire
Sunrunner

Bill...Try "All Models" They probably never went back that old with listing the whole vehicle lineup.

Oh, I did that, I just think it'* hilarious (and rather unprofessional) to have incorrect listings for the year.

I also think $24.95 for a 12oz can of spray is a rather spendy proposition.

$25 for touch up...wow..

Like I said, they merely realized 93 is an old and outdated year. :P (But only in your case)

I never said they were cheap

I rarely use them, anyway.... mostly if I'm trying to get specialty paint for a VERY old vehicle (meaning 1980 or older) and then I have to identify it by the color code, not by the model of vehicle. Their mixes always seem to come out spot-on, though.... so I'm not complaining.

Just because their database is incomplete, doesn't make them unprofessional; but I agree it would be nice if they were more complete (to make it easier sometimes). You can still order by paint code, though.

I ordered a touch up kit from them right before Christmas and the process was painless. They were very easy to deal with. I agree the kit was a little on the expensive side but my car is a tri coat so I had a mid coat color as well as a base coat and a topcoat. I will probably start the repair on Sunday afternoon a and finish next Thursday. I love watching paint dry.
