REMOVE the LS4, are you crazy? That'* one fine engine. I can understand beefing the transmission though.

the LS4 is a good motor no doubt but it only has 303HP stock and can't find headers for it in the FWD setup and if i start to mess with it then i want the exhaust fully opened from heads to tips also i have seen the motor in the W body and looks like i will have to pull it for almost everything i want to do to it.

the L32 is also a strong bullet proof motor that starts with 260HP but far more open to do what i want to it and am already familiar with it'* setup and what it is capable of.

so back onto a rear end bowtie.... still have not found anything really great for it yet. thinking of mixing old with new in terms of using a trunk emblem from the 60'* with the absolutely beautiful classic scripts. thoughts on this?

thought about the black chrome, was actually going to do it at the same time as the tails with the VHT but was concerned about longevity of the coating lasting as i have painted the chrome trim around the front grilles after prepping and firm sanding of the chrome to include primer to bite into the roughed up chrome and it is still slowly chipping off from debris hits and pressure washing

seen a black SS today..and took a pretty close look at it..body color might not look so bad after all..if i was you though i would get a separate chrome bar..paint it..then that way you always have the stock one to fall back on in case you dont like the look

but IIRC isnt that about a 50-80 dollar piece?
