When you cheap out to try and save a buck (or in this case thousands), don't be surprised when you aren't happy. This was a waste of your money and you need to deal with it. Maybe next time you'll ask questions like "Why does every other body shop in this and every neighbouring universe want thousands to paint my car when these guys will do it for pocket change?". Even though this isn't rocket science, you seem to want to make it so.
You've managed to de-value your car and demonstrate to everyone here that you have completely unrealistic expectations. You shouldn't come and hang out here complaining about YOUR bad choice. This only makes you look like the fool. Suck it up and move on

My first recommendation is to contact your local Better Business Bureau, but bear in mind, MAACO isn't likely to give a crap about the BBB...it'* at least somewhere you can get advice.
The next idea is to find out if your local Bar Association has a help line. They'll only be able to give somewhat general advice, and they may cost a small fee, but again, they can probably tell you more about the legal side of it than we can.
Perhaps one of our paint guys can get with you on how to fix the over-spray on the plastic pieces. Using a razor there would be a bad idea.
Finally, we need to get one of our resident paint/body guys to do a write up on how to fully prep a car for paint. Above and beyond the present situation, it would be good to have that in techinfo, or stickied here in A&D. Perhaps we can spare the next guy this kind of grief with a shop.
Lastly, could we get a warning sticky on MAACO, like we did on JiffyLube for so long?

o.k it is monday feb-26 11:24 am and i just got a call back finally from the supervisor at the maaco headquarters and i was told that she spoke to the owner of maaco that painted my car and he agreed for me to go there on friday and he will physically look at my car and see what he can do to make things right.
this is the same huy that locked himself in his office after telling me he wanted more money to fix the problems with the paint..
so what do yous guys and gals think i should do.? need advice...
go there and see what he says or just stick to taking him to court and continue to wiat for my court date.?

Go see the guy. You can't lose on that. Either he (attempts to) fix it, or he gives you more ammo for court.
(Just don't sign anything or make any verbal statements to the effect that you are releasing him or Maaco from liability)
Indeed, you must go and at least see the guy...because if you don't, Maaco will use that against you.

Post some pics of this hack paint job, maybe someone here can give you some pointers on how to fix it yourself, Youll probably ending up spending more than 2500 on lawyer if it even goes to court?
