Youd have a really damn good butt speedometer if you can "feel" that small difference accurately, since the scale looks to be only off by 12.5%

that would roughly equal 65mph to show as 70mph on the new cluster, depending on how the gauge and pcm interact with each other

yeah i can do that but in my stock housing, i have lights that are burnt out. so i wont want to put the cluster in the old housing.

and for the part number, i will look and have one for you later on when i tear it apart again.

i still really dont get how the MPH would be off though? can someone explain it to me. Its still using the GXP circuit board...

it depends on where the speed is calculated.. the speed may be calculated in the IPC or it might be calculated in the PCM... i do not know for sure... you should test it since we dont know..

best way would be to plug a scantool in and watch the scantool and watch the speedo at the same time

use a GPS ..... and if you fond that you can make the whole GXP cluster work i can have the miles reprogrammed. If you end up not using it i'll take it off your hands
