I scored well at the JY
I walk in, pay my admission (yes, it was an LKQ), and what was the first thing I saw when I went in???
A 2001 Impala 9C1.
Now, not many know this, but I have been so wanting to get rid of my Aerolites on the SSEi for quite some time. Not only are they ugly, but heavy too. More ugly than heavy in my book. So what does this have to do with the 9C1? The Impala still had it'* cop car rims, that'* what. Center caps and everything. Tires, however, are way past shot with the exception of one, and that will become a spare.
So what did those rims set me back? A whopping 34 bucks and change. Debating on whether or not to paint them white or repaint black. In either case I am going to add a chrome trim ring. Pics will follow once I get my camera back.
EDIT: Forgot to mention...they are the same size as Bonneville rims, and same bolt pattern. But they are steel instead of aluminum.

Stripping them down will most likely involve sandblasting, and possibly a trip to Curts house for paintwork (still gotta contact him on that though). And I may very well go with a whole new color...gunmetal grey. I think that will look sharp on these rims.
Found some pics on ebay

More like AeroHeavies. And shipping won't be light either
I'd love to go white. But I would also like to swap between cars, so I need to stay with a neutral color. Gunmetal I think would look kicka$$ on these rims, and when the chrome goes on they should really stand out.
