Had some grill mesh and playing around this what I end up with , need to know opinions keep it or lose.thanks

this was extra so I tried grill inserts , fit pretty god too



Dont be shy, I still need to rustproof and paint, the 3800 in first pic are steel numbers.

I am with Pat...gotta see them on the car, but they look sharp so far. Personally, for the engine cover, I prefer to run naked, but that might work.

Sorry, Mods....dont' ban...

Incidentally, I can use my imagination and picture that engine cover with some paint and a contrasting trim piece (C'mon guys.. :P ). You may just have to try it on there and maybe adjust to fit for shape.

Does it hurt?...nah, things just get a tad hot in summer.

On topic...my imagination is a little rusty lately, but good point...a little shaping and I am sure the engine cover will look awesome

I'm thinking grilles yes, but take that mesh and install it into cut openings in the OEM cover.

But then again, steel isn't the best choice. Rust, weight, hard to shape, go aluminum. Or use what you have.

I just think using the OEM cover as a base to build on would be hot.
