Hey guys I was wondering how long you should let you tail lights and reflector sit after you put VHT on it. I just got my bottles in today and was thinking about doing it now if I can put them on later tonight

Also for tinting the tails. I know I have to mask off what I don't want tinted and then I start applying the VHT on it, but after every coat do I sand it down at all???

Can someone give me a step by step on how to properly do it?

there are different techniques throughout the club, some will tell you things, others will tell you different things.

I did 3 coats of VHT, with 30 minutes between coats, and then 3 coats of clear, with 30 minutes between coats, with no sanding

willwren and others will tell you to sand and what not, but I don't really see the need.

What type of clearcoat did you use?

some generic Duplicolor I think... That was like 3 years ago, I cant remember!

I got it off of ebay...Its a store that runs off of ebay ( if you know what I mean )

I will let you know on that tomarrow. I didn't get the chance to do it today, so tomarrow afternoon I will be tinting the tails and will let you know how much of the cans I used.
