Hmmmm.... I just had an idea.
BTW James Bond can be applied to any situation. <_<
So I bought a switch from Pepboys and mounted it just to the left of my steeringwheel for that light strip on my dash, as you know.
I was thinking about those 4 blank buttons I have to the left of my Gear shifter on the center console. Only traction control is a usable button, the rest are plastic fillers.
I was planning on putting stickers on them. You know like Ejection Seat, Armageddon Button, Hologram projection. But then I got to thinking, what would be even COOLER?
Hmmmm... then it hit me. As if a light switched on. (pun)
I can put more switches/buttons on there! One switch per blank button. Then I can pretend I'm powering up for hyper drive like I'm piloting the Millennium Falcon. ROFL!
I can have a few buttons and maybe one or two of those switches with the safety toggles, you know Fast and Furious style.
Now the question is what can I hook them up to!? Here'* what I got so far...
One for front footwell LEDs, one for rear LEDs. But that still leaves me with two more switches.
Need more accessories, lol! Suggestions? Also, does anyone have a picture guide for getting under there?

I'm laughing a bit and am pretty evil... so please take this in stride...
As I read your post I thought.. 92-99 ...check, on yeah..he drives an SE. And behold when I get to your siggy.. it'* an SE![Very Happy](https://www.gmforum.com/gm/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I'm all for the racing stripes over the car. They add way more power than switches.
In the theoretical land where cosmetic mods = hp...
Switch = 2 hp
Racing stripes = 200 hp
And being that I poked fun at you..I'll let you know...I'm not only a member. I'm the president of the added buttons club.

The CCR strut buttons have been converted to a switch for MPH/KMH of the HUD.
The shift mode buttons are still for their original purpose.
TC is also for it'* intended purpose.
Shifter from a GA, same as 00+ leather wrapped.
Left side round button, Electric WP turn off
Right side round button, WSS defeat
Center rocker, IC on/off with indicator LED built in. (looks a lot like a GA fog light button if you the shape)
Left back item is a little protective hood for the Pac SWI transmitting LED that enables me to use my steering wheel controls with the afermarket radio.

Yeah switches might only add 2 HP, but what if one of the switches turned on the turbo? lol.
I'm in envy. Even if I don't know what half those abbreviations mean.
I would put in more buttons and switches than those 4 but I have never really done wiring and I don't even know what I would want to add! Anywhere I can go to get ideas?
My original two questions still stand.
