Same here. Haven't had any of the bad luck in the '99 assemblys either and they have been in there just a little over a year

I noticed a large improvement in light output between stock and SS bulbs.

Are your headlamps very pitted where the light isn't focusing?

something to keep in mind... yellow light reflects better off of wet roads and cuts through fog better... my headlights work awesome, but if the road is wet, i cant see ****

Ya know, where I noticed the most difference between clear and blue bulbs, my projector headlights. The stock 55W clear bulbs put more light on the ground than blue 100W bulbs. They were H3'*. But, the HID'* put WAY more light to the ground than anything else, obviously.
