Glass Polish to remove minor scratches
Can anyone recommend a glass polish for removing minor scratches from glass? Thanks.

Thanks. I'll Google that. The scratches are on my sunroof glass, which is tinted. Does anyone know how this is tinted. Is it on the inside or outside, or somehow in the glass itself? If it is on the outside, polishing the scratches would obviously remove the tint.

Also, you might try Liquid Glass, available at Checker Auto Parts, Fleet Farm, and a few other places I am unaware of in the Minneapolis area.
If that doesn't work, there is a good sunroof glass sitting here in Sauk Centre you can have for a few $ -it does need the trim ring repainted Satin black, but the glass itself is in A-1 condition and I will even help install it -I just helped Sonoma_Zr2 switch his in St. Cloud on Friday morning and it took about 10 minutes -there'* eight easily accessible scews and it'* out.

Thanks for the info on that product. I have a Checker and Fleet Farm within a few miles of me. I may end up having to take you up on that glass, but I'll not have you help putting it in because if I need to paint the trim, I want to do that out of the car. The story is, my trim was chipping also, so I set out to sand it all down and then paint. I have a palm orbital sander and was carefully sanding the trim with 240 grit, but at one spot, touched the glass! Driver'* side front corner. To say I was pi$$ed is an understatement. Doing it off the car would be much easier, I think. There is a glass place here in town that advertises scratch removal, and I will check with them in the morning. I'm off tomorrow so hopefully they can do it reasonably. Checking in the repair manual, they describe 3 screws on each side for a total of six. That'* just to get the glass and trim out. Do you take the whole mechanism out. Thanks much. I'll keep you advised.

I had a glass guy out this morning and he could not remove it. BlueEyes, when would you be available to do the switch and how much do you want for the glass? Maybe you should PM me so the moderators don't get on us. Thanks

I'll try and get the rest of the paint peeled off and some primer on as well as some satin paint. That way it'* ready when you come up here.
