Can pinstriping be removed without repainting?

I personally wouldn't use either paint thinner or a dremel tool. Paint thinner can damage your paint, and a dremel spins *really* fast, and will probably burn through your paint too. I'd just recommend a normal automobile polishing buffer and wax and see if it takes off the pinstriping. Also, I think a body shop could probably do this really easily and probably not cost very much.
