Just wanted to thank Bill for the water blade idea. It works great
Me and the son just washed the car, done in less than 20 minutes with water blade drying...looks awesome

Yea I got the water blade for my bday a few weeks ago.
I gave it a try, but wasn't overly impressed... it worked pretty good... but I still had to use the shamies (sp) for a good part of the car... maybe I just need more practice... and fresh coats of wax on my rides....
I'm thinking it'* the wax... I'll hold off on giving my review until both rides are washed waxed and washed again. Then dryed w/ the California Water Blade....

My Thoughts on the blade.....
Its great for getting all the heavy amounts of water off that you would have to ring out
a few times.....
It does't do cars with moldings and contours very well..
but wipe the hood, windows, roof and big side panels down with it....follow up with the
Absorber chamios to get in all the nooks and crannies and your all set!
It did speed up my drying time ALOT!
So yes..its a handy tool to use along with your Absorber chamios!
Plus I was lucky enough to pick mine up at Target when they were doing a clearance to bring in the new stuff and got it for $4.25 from $20

I like it used one for couple years already, the body moldings of the ssei are little tough but definitly speeds up the drying time.
But on the Aurora, it worked like a dream, could squeege down 95% of the car with the blade.
Caution though, don't get any nicks in the silicon blade cause it will scratch/scuff and you won't be happy. I've replaced mine once already.

I guess I should have clarified, the blade removes so much water that all that is needed is quick chamois to finnish up. Without the blade it took two chamios and about 30 min to dry er up. This thing saves time.
Taylor, I kept the original package to store the blade as when I removed it I noticed how delicate the blade is

well.. since it'* good to replace your wiper blades every so often why not just save the $$ and use your old blade? ( I"ve done that for the window and big areas also ). I do agree that I usually won't use it other then just windows cause of scuff marks.. that extra few minutes of chamie is worth a lot more to me then another scratch on my car ( which would cost your more $$ AND TIME to get it out )
