FWIW, in the past, when I wasn't keeping up with keeping the car waxed properly, I found that I had the toughest time getting the car dried, or dried properly. When the paint is bare, it has a much larger tendency to dry spotty or streaked from leftover water.

what I do is spend $3 at the do it yourself section of the carwash, get 10 bucks worth of gas so I can get a discounted auto carwash, then go thru the automated with the air dry, then I dry off with microfiber towels.

lol, we have an absorber, but dad wont let me use it, its only use it for his '67 Cougar
i'll go get my own then
We also have a blade that was made from the same company as the Absorber, its awesome as well! But dad hides that one, though i probably wouldn't use it since it wont get to the "gills" on the bumper covers and cladding

The absorber works VERY well. I throw it in the washer after each car wash and it'* good to go. I rinse it out often while drying so I don't scratch the paint with small bits of debris/dirt that DO tend to get/stay on the car even after washing.
My parents used the Absorber on their Vette, but now my dad has gone the extra careful route and he uses a leaf blower as well.
