9006 to 9005 bulbs
Who here has done this mod and how did you remove the two tabs on the inside of the bulb connector? I tried a small razor blade but it wasn't doing anything so I tried a dremmel, well the dremmel was working but it wound up taking the bulb for a ride and the bulb landed on the floor and kablamo no more bulb.

Ya I read that, But I was just trying to find how someone had removed the 2 tabs from inside of the light. I tried a chisel-knife and a dremel.

Are you trying to put a 9005 bulb in the 9006 hole? I tried to replace both of my bulbs in the 2000 with the high beam 100w since we use a dual light high beam and it wouldn't fit in the hole. It was too loose and wouldn't lock in. Is there a way to do this?
