9005 mod
so i went to the junkyard yesterday, and happened to find a set of 9005 Sylvania CoolBlue lights installed in a car, and one 9006 Sylvania SilverStar......of of course i grabbed them not knowing if they are good or not....got home and tryed them, and they work Perfectally
so i thought what the hell....mod the 9005'* for the low beams
here is the orignal low beams installed in both sides
cool blue installed in the right light
cool blue installed in both lights
over all they are much brighter than the stock headlight....i have NOT driven at night with them yet, but they do show promise....
also FWIW the lights do NOT have any blue color, they are a Pure White light

the reason why this works good in the 96+ headlights is because there is a glare shield in the HL housing already
So all the difference is, is that the bulb is more watts and it brighter.
there still may be a little more glare then normally jut because the filament may sit in a diffrent spot then the 9006.
