As they sit right now, you can't see any metallic green at all.
In the direct sunlight, you can just catch a hint of dark green if you're up close. From 10 feet away or more, they look like dark tinted tails only. I'm happy with the effect. Subtle up close.

Still messing around with them occasionally, but it'* time for an update.
This was a 'mixed set'. Notice how one of the inners was a white base plastic? The exposed and visible area when the trunk is open was starting to wear through and show white, so I applied my custom texturing and painting skills to make them all match:

I like the fact that you are taking care of the finishing touches to do the job completely. Very good idea using the texture and painting the backpanels.
