I bet the "ZILLA" had no idea what was in store for it'* life the day you looked at that car and said "I'll take it."
The lamps look good.

They look pretty good so far. I'm wet-sanding the clear now in preparation for the final coat, but ran out of clearcoat. Gotta get more today. Want to see what they look like in daylight, too. myfirstbonnie will be here this afternoon for a personal second opinion.

im about to play with my second set of tails.. but i just need to know about the whole wet sanding deal.. whats recommended, an electric sander, something big like that or just hand sand paper and some water? is the best way to do it before you spray the tint/ clear, in between, after the tint is on totally (before clear coat)?
any suggestions would be fabulous

No power ANYthing.
Wet-sand the scratches out of the tails first with 1000 grit, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
NEW NOTE:
CLEARcoat them FIRST. Microcracks in the tail lenses will absorb tint, and be too obvious. Seal with clear first, then wet-sand that with 600-800 grit before tinting. Lay 2 light coats of tint after that, and then wetsand GENTLY with 800 grit or 1000 grit to knock of the high spots. Continue laying light coats of tint until it looks good to you in the DAYLIGHT. You must take them outside to see this.
Lightly wet-sand again before final clearcoat. Lay two coats of clear, wet-sanding in between them with 1000 grit.
Follow these steps unless you have a really good paint gun and a clean paint booth.
