Default AMES catalog for classic Bonnevilles

I also am a member of the Classical Pontiac website sponsered by AMES Performance and the they have a GREAT catalog for classic Bonneville/Grand Prix owners for those who are not aware. Incredible amounts of stuff you would never expect. Just putting in a well deserved plug to those who may be interested. www.amesperf.com

This looks like a great site for people that are asking us where to get parts for their "Vintage" Pontiacs. The Admins might want to move this to the Classic section of the board and possibly put a little "sticky" on it.

Bubba, were your headreast covers supposedly factory replacements? Or aftermarket? Just curious about what you don't like about them. I've looked into Ames for a few items, but haven't purchased from them yet.

WOW! I'm a Sticky! I am ordering some things from them. I got a 389 4V sticker for my air cleaner and a tool to pop the clips on window and door handles and am waiting for a backup light assembly and brake lines. I just got a CD from them with the entire shop and body manuals on it that is just the Berries! Just look up what you need, and print.

Ames is the best. I am sure if any of you have attended the Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio you have experienced their hospitality. They are a great company to deal with and strive hard for customer satisfaction.
Great source for Classic Pontiac Parts.

lets see, i bought a new wood dash insert, and a new package tray for my 66' and they are cosmetically perfect, but installation is a little bit of an issue, for example, they didnt leave me enough extra vinyl on the package tray, so i dont know what im going to do about that.

Don't buy there power window button switches or there outdoor mirrors..

I have better luck getting vintage American made NOS parts on e-Bay...

I've bought LOTS of parts for my 69 bonnie from Ames,, always prompt with the shipping, even tho I am clear across the country from them... everything seemed to be the correct item and worked fine,
I am a little bit concerned about my latest order,, its on back order has been for 4 weeks,, I have called twice, and the lady that answered the phone, seemed unconcerned about whether I ever got it or not, didn't want to call and check on the order or find out if they were even going to fill the order,, so I'm now looking else where for the parts just in case Ames falls through,
