Default 69 Bonneville, wont fire

So i bought a 69 bonneville and the guy before me ran a jumper wire from the coil to the battery and it started before. Now that it is home, we've been trying to start it and there is no more spark. The other battery was dead, so I stuck a new one in and it cranks better now, but still no spark. Previous owner put in a dist. cap and new wires. Does anyone have an online wiring diagram for the ignition system, or some thoughtful insight on this problem possibly?

Thanks in advance!

Been a long time sense I worked on a engine like that. Pull the dis cap and check the rotor and inside terminals for corrosion. Check center button as well. Replace if needed. Check points if you have them to make sure they are clean and open and close, check gap. You may have a bad coil. Seeing he was jumping it, I would replace it. In fact, do a full tune up, coil, cap, rotor, points.

Are the points opening and closing?
