Default 68 bonneville ignition switch

New to this forum, was hoping to find some help locating a part.

I have a 1968 bonneville that needs a new ignition switch. Ive been looking for weeks but i can only find just the cylinder. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?

That'* a lot of contacts.

Not having a lot of luck finding one.

It might be a good idea to figure out what connects to what in each position. It looks like a workaround might be necessary.

Yeah. You will likely need to mod in a switch.

I appreciate the responses. I'll have to see if I can find a youtube video or something about moding one

. . . or get a more normal switch and wire the necessary things together outside of the switch. It has four positions, right? (accessory, off, on, and start) Eleven contacts for four positions tells me that some of those are connected together inside . . . or maybe with double pass-through on your old switch you could solve the same problem(*) with a couple of solenoids and a simple switch.
