could have been the icm or connector for it since like he said the signal goes through the icm. so if your running lean could be a few things vacuum leak, low fuel pressure are common. you look at the throttle body and see if it looks carboned up?

I'll check out those things tonight. Also can you tell me exactly where the TPS is located on the 2.4 engine. I picked one up last night and I'm going to change that as well.

Replaced the TPS and seems better but the car doesn't start right up smoothly and then the idle seems a little high and then levels out. Was thinking of changing the crankshaft position sensor as well. Can you tell me exactly where it'* located on the 2.4 engine?

Still having some problems. Replaced the ignition control module since I had a spare and also replaced the TPS. Disconnected battery and when I got home hooked battery back up and the car started right up. Idle was a little off at first but then seemed okay, let the car idle for several minutes and then it kind of stumbled and then stalled out. Started right back up again and I started moving it up and down the driveway for a couple minutes and then stopped on slope of driveway and let idle, it then again stumbled and stalled out. Started right back up and I back down the driveway and again put in park to let idle and it once again stumbled and stalled out. Scanned for codes and got none. Do I possibly need to replace the crankshaft position sensor as that was one of the original codes thrown as well as the code for the TPS. Help is desperately needed.
