I have a 99 Cavalier Z24. It has 243998 miles.

I've had this car since I was 16, and got it at 138k miles. It has a new alternator, battery, and starter. A few other small things here and there have had issues, but nothing I couldn't fix myself. I know it'* a lot of miles in 5 years, but I've delivered pizzas since I was 18, and I still drive it back and forth 60 miles a day to work. I guess I have maintained it pretty well, but my grandpa was a mechanic, so he helped major!

The engine sounds just as good as my step-dad'* 2012 Chevy Malibu LT with the 2.4 in it, and about 10k on the clock.

I was wondering about how many miles people have put on these cars before they have engine/transmission issues. Whether I keep it or not is still up in the air. I have a Blazer too, but if I get rid of the car, I'd have to get another cause the Blazer sucks gas.
