2019 Equinox rear passenger brake light
Sorry for dumb question. Not a car guy.
My back passenger side brake/turn light is flickering (faintly).
Removed the lamp assembly to discover everything is one piece. No way to change the bulb.
Can I remove the star screws to access? Surely they don’t expect me to replace the entire assembly for $300 for a bad bulb.
Thanks.

It doesn't seem like a dumb question to me.
They expect that the part will last the lifetime of the vehicle, and the few poor saps that end up changing them are statistically insignificant so their complaints will likely never be heard.
No, it'* molded in.

You're welcome!
You might want to keep an eye out for one from the local salvage yards. They can be had at a discount and aren't hard to pull. At a yard that I've been to a million times you could get one of these for under $40.00 .
