I was glad to see the Monte go!!!! My Lumina LTZ was a hot car. I am excited to bring it back. I cant wait to get my hands on a manual Lumina! I missed out on the GXP G8, but I will deff look into the SS Manual 6sp!

Monte Carlo > Lumina. Always will. The only Lumina that ever looked good was the Z34 (early 90s with the twin hood louvers) and this one.
The 5th Monte'* looked like *** because they were the same body as the Lumina just with 2 less doors. 1-4 gen Monte'* were awesome and the 6th-7th gens were awesome.

Lets not bash cars or get into whos what/better/best unless itz a Ford
Besides everybody knows the GXP is the sexiest sedan to ever roll out of a Detroit factory.
A car is a hunk of metal, and We can make any beat another if We know a starting point. Just takes wrenching and cash. Bashing just starts feuds and destroys a forum. They are a built on respect and friendships. And all the tools and cash in the world cant save one allowed to get dysfunctional.

I'm still not entirely convinced that GM has pulled their heads out of their asses, so there'* no telling whether or not this will come to the US. Would it be an excellent idea? Hell yes. Will GM do it? I don't know.

hi! i am from south africa. we have had lumina'* from 2002 i think, kind of forgot, in two specs, a * and ss. the * was a V6, not sure about capacity as they wasnt common and wasnt interested in them. the SS in the older shape was a 5.7 litre V8 (LS1) motor, the newer ones (2007-current) has a 6.0 litre that produces 270 kw and 530 nm of torque. thse are great cars with alot of potential, i am extreamly happy with mine. the car is cheap here for its class as other V8'* such as C63 and M3 sell for R750 000 + and the lumina is just around R450 000! we have a good few on the road but the bad thing for us is fuel consumption as fuel prices are quite high and car gets very thirsty when driven hard( in my case, all the time).
