In your search you would do well to tell those you are asking the vehicle you have.

Many folks post about a different vehicle than what they put in their profile. Is it the 2014 ATS in your profile or something else?

What is it doing wrong?

I'd look at the relay and ignition switch first. You would need a factory scan tool to get any help for a no start. You may not be able to see the start request with a cheapo scanner.

Yeah, check the relay before fiddling with complicated stuff.

So you get nothing when bypassing the relay? If so, The wiring between the relay and stater has a problem. I would look at the underside of that fuse box. Make sure it'* clean.
