Yes, it is. I think Im just not used to NOT being able to set it as I wish (too much Auto). Dash airflow only comes on during certain conditions/temps, etc. Was pretty complex combination of criteria, that prettty much say manual control not a real option. Would just like to find a way to not use AC as the way temp controlled.

Questions of the day as I continued this journey.
  1. Had it out in rain yesterday for first time with the wipers. Blades choppy up and down even with plenty of rain coming down.
  2. When I turn on wipers, there is 2-3 second delay before they start (normal vs slow to wind up old motor)? Lubrication possible?
  3. When turned off they go most of the way down and stop 3/4 way doen. Sit there for a while then disapper after a while. As per design or again, old rarely used motor issues? Lubrication possible?
  4. See no original OEM blades are arms out there. Just get what local parts place can offer?
  5. Drivers side electric motor sounds a little strained front to back compared to passenger side. And cleaning or lubrication options possible?
Many thanks!

1. Probably needs new blades.
2. Sounds about normal for hidden wipers, and probably not anything useful to lubricate, and definitely none of it was intended to be dissected by us consumers nor by technicians. The wiper motor assembly is a throw-away part.
3. Depending what "a while" means, this may indicate a slow motor. It should hide at about the same speed as it un-hides.
4. Get a quality brand, not just any old thing. I've had good luck with Rain-X brand for what it'* worth.
5. Electric motor for windows?

Thanks for th reply. For #5, slow motor I was referring to the electric seats drivers side, just didnt state that important fact.

Ah, back then they sounded strained a lot. I bet the factory grease is turning hard. It might be worth taking it apart, cleaning it off, and re-greasing . . . or if you don't adjust it much you could put this job on the back burner.

Roger that. Trying to assess the complexity of each to do on my list and prioritize. Thanks!
