Snap Ring Pliers for Buick 3800 Throttle Body
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to locate the correct snap ring pliers for removing and installing the inside snap ring that holds the honeycomb MAF sensor screen in place at the entrance of the throttle body. This snap ring measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter and the holes for the pliers pins measure .047 inches in diameter. The screen is used to straighten the air flow so that the MAF sensor can read the air volume correctly.
Thank you for reading this post.

just go to harbor freight or any store that sells a pointy tool. get two of them (unless you already have something in a house that is pointy and can fit inside those two holes) and then just insert them and at the same time push both close to each others. You really dont need no tool for it, especially a specific one made for such purpose, itll just be throwing money. (atleast in my opinion)

Or you can just go to Harbor Freight, or any other auto store, and get the right tool for the job:
Snap Ring Pliers with Interchangeable Heads
And then you will have them for future projects. There are cases where they really come in handy, especially if the ring starts getting feisty, and you shouldn't have to throw away too much money for them.
